Tamrac Jazz 76 v2.0 Overview

Store, transport, and protect your compact DSLR with attached lens, small extra lens, flash and related accessories with the black, side-access Jazz Photo Sling Bag 76 v2.0 from Tamrac. The bag features a bottom compartment with zipper closure and padded, touch-fastening dividers for photo gear, and a top compartment for more gear or personal items. There's also a padded, side, zip pocket for your small tablet. Inside the bag are clear-mesh zip pockets for small accessories.

A side, stretch pockets is useful for holding your water bottles or accessories. Above this pocket is a strap to secure the upper portion of a compact tripod. Carry the bag with the top handle or wear with the padded, adjustable, cross-body shoulder strap. The back panel is padded for cushioning and cooling comfort.

The bag is designed to accommodate a compact DSLR or mirrorless camera with up to a 5.9" lens attached, along with an extra lens and a charger or flash/accessory.

Spotting Scope Bag!

This bag has worked out great for my needs! I took out all of the dividers, including the top shelf, and created a space which is nearly perfect for my Pentax PF-65ED angled spotting scope. There is 15 of height inside the bag now which accommodates my 13.5 spotting scope very well. Keep in mind that the interior space towards the top decreases in volume because the bag tapers in from both sides and from front to back. I really like this bag. It looks great, it is well built, it is small and light weight, it is very affordable and most importantly it fits my needs so very well. p.s. Thanks to all who accurately answered my questions about this bag. It allowed me to purchase it with confidence.

Perfect for a light-weight system on the street

The Tamrac Jazz 76 v.2.0 Compact Sling Bag is perfect for a light-weight mirrorless system. I have this set up for a Fujifilm X-E3 with 3 compact primes for a day of street shooting. The strap is comfortable and its easy to sling the bag around to access the camera compartment to switch lenses. The side pocket which can be used for small tripods is also perfect for a 16oz water bottle and the top accessory compartment is great for some energy bars, spare battery, filters etc. there is even a slot compartment that will fit up to 9.7 inch tablet, though it is snug and I doubt it would fit a table with a 10.5 inch screen. The the Jazz 76 is simple and nondescript, which is what you want for street photography. You don’t want a bag that screams “I’ve got a camera!” when you are walking through city streets. Bottom line, for traveling light this bag has everything you need and nothing you don’t.

What is the size of the tablet sleeve and opening?

According to the manufacturer, the tablet sleeve/pocket on the Tamrac Jazz Photo Sling Bag 76 v2.0 (Black) is on a bit of a diagonal to fit with the bag. The bottom width is rough 7” (17.78 cm) and the top is rough 6.5” (16.51 cm). Both of these measurements are slightly under by up to 0.25” (6.35 mm). The pocket is 9.5” (24.13 cm) tall.

Is the upper and lower compartments separated by a permanently sewn in divider?

Yes , this is a great bag , I use it with mirrorless cameras , one camera in the top section and one camera in the larger bottom section. it’s the perfect size, and to access your cameras you to swivel around from your hip without removing the bag. Each section then right at your finger tips. I was very surprised this is an excellent bag well-made not too big not too small easy access to everything. Highly recommend

Yes. All dividers are removable. The floor of that top section is pretty securely velcroed in place but can be removed.

Could this hold a 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm lens along with a full frame camera body (Canon)?

I don’t have a canon. Previously I owned the Nikon D750 and actually purchased this bag because I recently downsized to a Sony A9 mirrorless. I’m going to say that I don’t think this bag would do what you want. I can fit the a9 with a 50mm attached and an 85mm 1.8. Inside the camera compartment. I then could maybe fit something else very small. The problem would arise with the depth of the Canon full frame body if you slid it in through the zippered compartment with a lens attached for quick access, the space allowed for the body just barely allows for the depth of my a9 body and still zips.
