Does anyone know if this grid will fit on the Westcott? The Westcott doesn't have velcro on the interior and relies on diffuser fabric to fit like a cap on the exterior of the Octa.

I'm planning to mount a Canon 580EX flash unit + a Impact Powerslave receiver on this softbox. Would these fit in the Shoe-mount ?
We believe that it should, but are not aware of any specific test done between the two.

I recently purchased the Westcott rapid box 26” ...
I recently purchased the Westcott rapid box 26” to use with my AD200 however the deflector plate touches the bulb attachment of the AD200. Wondering if the distance is the same with the Angler BoomBox? It looks like a very similar design to the Rapid Box, but much cheaper.
The frame of the Angler has a similar depth to the Westcott RapidBox. It will not work with the AD200 with its supplied hardware.

This version of the Boom-Box is strictly for shoe mount flashes. There are no Bowens adapters which can be added to it. The version with a Bowens S mount is the Angler BoomBox Octagonal Softbox with Bowens Mount (36"), B&H # ANBB36DB.
