Draco Broadcast MA2 Reviews
Nice idea, but it doesn't work
I purchased this to do timelapses of night time scenes. The device is well built and has the right features. However, the main problem is that it doesn't work. When I set the device to do 15 second exposures with my camera in BULB mode, it only takes a 1/3 second exposure, then moves on. If I set to simply trigger the camera with the camera set to 15 seconds, the device stops and triggers the exposure, but then moves on after a few seconds without waiting for the camera to finish. So, neither mode works. For very short daytime exposures, this might work, but not for long exposures. In addition, the device does not remember the last settings, so every time you power up, you start configuring it from scratch, which is cumbersome with the provided up/down/enter/escape buttons. I am using this with a Nikon Z6. The device was supposed to have both Canon and Nikon cables in the box, but mine came only with the Canon cable. After contacting customer service, B&H sent me the Nikon cable for free, but I had to wait another week to get that. I contacted the Draco US customer service and never got a response (one week). Returning the unit now.
