The Draco Broadcast AFI MA2 Electronic Head can pan a full 360° continuously up to 4 hours with a DSLR camera weighing up to 6.6 lb. All the functions are set directly on the head and viewed via the LCD screen. These functions allow a camera to create a smooth time-lapse or live-action video. Also, the 2.4" head enables a camera to take a succession of photographs to make a panoramic image.

The manufacture says it should work but you need the correct shutter cable. It does not come with the one for the Sony A7 III.

The Draco Broadcast AFI MA2 Electronic Head (B&H# DRMA2) comes with a wireless receiver that can mount in the camera's hot shoe and connects wirelessly (i.e., using radio waves) to the head, and by cable to the camera. Any and all control over the functioning of the head is performed with the buttons on the head itself. (In other words, there is no way to control the head remotely.) The head sends a wireless signal to the receiver. The cable from the receiver connects to the camera and carries the signal to tell the camera to release the shutter.

What speeds does this rotate at?
The manual lists 6 speeds. What those speeds are is not listed unfortunately. However, since this is a time lapse device and we therefore would assume they will be usable speeds.

Your “in the box” does not mention the remote controller but you show it in one of the photographs. Is it included?
When purchasing the Draco Broadcast AFI MA2 Electronic Head, The device in the picture is actually a "wireless receiver", and is included in the original box.

Does this unit operate in English? The pictures show otherwise and I cannot confirm anywhere. Also, are you able to charge while running it to extend the battery life, (i.e. with an external USB battery pack)?
You can change the language and you can charge it while you are using it.
