A ToneMatch T4S is not required (or recommended) for the S1 Pro, or for the S1 Pro+ system. These two systems already have integrated ToneMatch settings on board.

Can I use the T4s as audio interface with an iPad Pro ?
I was able to use the T4s as an audio interface with the iPad Pro 12.9" 3rd generation (2018 model). I connected the USB from the T4S into Apple's USB C 3.0 camera adapter then into the iPad Pro USB. Not sure if they officially support it but worked for me.

What are the pros and cons of using a shielded cat5e/6 for the audio engine connection?
Hi Harold! Thank you for your question. Shielded cables are more effective for blocking interference in comparison to unshielded, so installing high-quality shielded cables will help to ensure high speed performance. However, I would recommend contacting Technical Support for your region - they will be more than happy to look further into this query for you. They will be able to advise you on the best option for your particular situation.

What are the power requirements...where I live it’s 230v-60Hz....?
You must use an optional power supply for Bose T4s and XLR cables for left and right channels,if you have Bose F1 or Bose S1 Pro. When you have Bose L1 pro series with Tone-match port( Ethernet connector), then no power supply is required.

Can you use a regular cat5 cable for the audio engine cable? Also, What is the longest length recommended.
Hi, Harold.
Thank you for your question. You can use a CAT-5 or CAT-6 cable in place of the ToneMatch cable. This is suitable for connecting a T4S to an L1 Model II or L1 Model 1S. Fifty feet is the recommended maximum.
