I just bought this and realized it came with a 30amp AC Plug. Can I safely adapt this to 15amp plug to use in a regular outlet? Will it just result in a slower battery charge?
Asked by: erik
Thank you for your interest in our products. If you do change the input power cord to 15 amp it will derate the UPS to a 1500VA UPS. It wouldn't slow charge but you would not be able to connect the same amount equipment to the UPS. We do recommend a licensed electrician change out the cord as well.
