I bought this case for housing my bodies and lenses more than for traveling. It's dust and waterproof and built like a tank. That's what I wanted - a vault to protect my gear from dust, spills, etc. It's deeper than the less-pricey models from SKB and quite heavy. But it has wheels and a handle for ease of moving. This model has movable dividers for easy customization. Four double-click latches secure the lid, which can be secured with a third-party lock. This case is substantial -more so than I expected. But I am thoroughly happy with it.
With the specific size demands of airliners, this one is roomy and meets the requirements, awesome!
