Nice fitting hood.

B & H has everything

This is for an used 20 f2.8 lens for my soon to arrive full-frame camera. Because the lens is no longer in production so acquiring the OEM hood became next to be impossible. Then I found this on B & H website as usual they have everything that others don't. The thread on this hood was extremely well machined and the rubber material is quite firm (not collapsible) double as bumper to protect the lens. Although I'm not 100% sure of the compatibility but judging by the look of it which is very similar to the OEM version I think that it should be pretty close if not perfect.

Vignette at wide angle be gone

I use a K&F CPL filter so I needed a circular lens hood that didn't vignette at 18mm (aps-c) on photo mode. The wide angle hood has a really solid construction and a low profile to prevent vignetting. If you're in a similar situation give this lens hood a try.

Hi, will it work with a Tamron 17-28mm with no vignetting? Thanks!
Asked by: Murilo
17mm in a full frame camera is right in the border of where vignetting can occur. It is likely you will see some shading of the corners, but should not be major problem.

Will this lens hood produce any vignetting at 24mm when used on a Canon 24-105 RF f4 lens?
Asked by: William
No, this lens hood is designed for wider lenses like 16mm. 24mm wouldn't even notice it so this should be good for your lens.
