Is it good for the JBL 4312A (8 ohms) speaker?
Asked by: HYOUNG
The vintage JBL 4312A are control monitors and designed for in studio use. They could be connected to the STR-DH190 Stereo Receiver but will not sound as good as they should. They sound best with more power than this AV home receiver can muster!

Is there a way to adjust the balance between right and left channels? I don't see it on the unit or remote.
Asked by: Doug
Hi Doug, Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, there is! You can easily adjust the balance between right and left speakers by pressing the Amp Menu then selecting the "Balance" option. You can adjust from “BAL. L+10” to “BAL. R+10” in 1 dB/step. The initial setting is “BAL. 0”. Hope this helps! -Sam

Hi Joel, Thanks for your inquiry! We highly recommend using speaker wires that are anywhere between 12 to 16 gauge. Do I have to use rca cable with ground to connect Sony ps-lx310bt turntable to this receiver?
Asked by: Jonathan
Hi Jonathan Thanks for your inquiry. RCA cable is not required. The Sony STR-DH190 utilizes a screw terminal for grounding the phono. Whether you choose to enjoy the warm sound of vinyl via the phono input , or stream music from your digital music collection, you’ve found a perfect match. Don’t forget the receiver’s A=B function lets you connect two pairs of speakers. You can easily switch between A or B or use them all together at the same time. Hope this helps. Erin
