Love the Software, Absolutely hate the support

B&H is, as always incredible. Unfortunately, Adobe not so much. They have many of us photographers over a barrel, and they know it. I have so many pictures tied to LR CC that the thought of switching would be daunting. At their recommendation, I needed to have Adobe support reissue my license for Creative Cloud 100GB package, while they suspended my current license during that time. It took them over 2 months! They initially told me 2 weeks max. I was greatly disappointed as they strung me along, 2 weeks at a time, or 48 hours at a time. BH finally ran another sale, so I purchased this again so I can continue working. Now in mid-March, I’m still working on my backlog of pictures. They seemed to be indifferent to my needs. So, as with any company, when their downfall comes, it’ll come quick. I use this grudgingly at this point, until something better comes along. Adobe support finally reissued my replacement license 3 weeks after my “second” purchase. Luckily, they stacked. It’s also important to note that each of their different packages cannot be used with the others. For example: the 100GB package will stack with the 100GB package. but, NONE of the other packages will stack with any of the packages other than what you are running. A friend found that out, so Adobe’s recommendation was to wait 3 months for the current package to run out, then install the next. Otherwise, they will be just as happy to have you run your new licensed package and let the old one stay dormant without any compensation or credit. Hence….be careful!!!

Can two computers be logged into CC at the same time with this particular subscriptions? We currently have a CC subscription that is $65/month with tax. Would switch if two people can use apps at same time

When the one-year subscription expires who do I pay to renew: B&H or Adobe?

I always purchase a new subscription from B&H--the price is slightly less and I can take advantage of the B&H Credit Card special financing or sales tax rebate. It is simple to enter the new license code provided with your purchase into your Adobe account to give you another year of access.

If I already have a Creative Cloud subscription which expires July of next year, will this just extend my subscription?

UPDATE- As of Dec. 2025, Adobe did NOT extend my annual subscription. Instead, they created a separate plan. When contacted, they said I should wait until the due date and enter the new code then. They did help resolve the issue, though (I think-- fingers crossed!).

Yes, when you add Adobe Creative Cloud Pro (12-Month Subscription, Download) to your Adobe CC account, it will activate once your current plan ends.

What if I purchase 5 of these, does it automatically start the subscription or do I need to activate it first using the code? I want it to last for 5 years so in my mind, activate one, then activate the subsequent ones until 5 years.

The Adobe Creative Cloud (12 Month Subscription, Download) is not activated until you user activates it, so you should be able to purchase the software and then wait to activate the subscription at the time of your choosing.
