Tenba Cooper Overview

Store, transport, and protect your DSLR camera, 2-3 lenses up to 70-200mm 2.8, and related accessories with the gray Cooper DSLR Backpack from Tenba. The top compartment has organizational pockets, room for personal items and a sleeve for a 10" tablet. Photo gear is stored in the removable padded insert located in the lower compartment. This compartment is accessed by a zipper. Padded, touch-fastening dividers are useful for organizing and protecting camera equipment.

For additional storage there are front and top rear zip pockets. Carry the pack with the top handle, or wear it with the padded, adjustable shoulder straps. The pack is constructed from strong, durable Cordura canvas and waterproof leather. Included with the pack is a rain cover with a silver side to reflect heat and a black side to absorb it.

There's Only Room For A Few Lenses But It's Great For Someone Like Me Who Travels A Lot. It Can Be A Little Difficult To Bend The Top Back At First But Once It's Broken In It Works Great. I Can Carry My Camera Body, 3 Lenses, All My Memory Cards, Flash, Etc., Plus Things Like My Wallet And Phone So It's A Good Bag To Have For Flying With Your Camera As Well.

I made the right choice for me. I wanted a manageable backpack camera bag to carry on board for travel to Europe. The leather is a plus and the content size fits my needs. My previous Manfrotto case was larger but the zipper broke in two years. Tenba has a 5 year warranty.

You don't HAVE to. The bag can be swung off one shoulder and you can unzip the bottom area where the camera equipment is designed to be stored.

Since the Cooper backpack splits in the middle to access the camera, it cannot have a laptop sleeve in the back, otherwise the bag would not be able to flex enough to allow access to the camera gear. The tablet sleeve is above the split, that's why it works even if there is camera gear inside. However, if you are not carrying a camera for the day, and you were to remove the horizontal divider between the padded bottom camera section and the top soft compartment, then a 13-inch laptop can fit in the bag. I carry a 13-inch laptop in mine all the time.

Yes, the Tenba Cooper DSLR Backpack can fit a 16 inch laptop if the horizontal divider is removed. But this will not protect the laptop as well as using a laptop sleeve.
