Featuring durable construction with heat-resistant fabric, this 24" Raja Deep Parabolic Softbox with Grid from Phottix is designed for quick assembly and teardown. It opens like an umbrella with a centralized metal joint, so you don't have to attach or remove any of the individual rods and can start shooting in seconds. The softbox comes with a standard Bowens S-mount speed ring that works with a variety of lights, but you can also equip it with optional Elinchrom and Profoto mounts to expand the list of compatible gear.

The Raja softbox has a reflective silver interior and offers two removable fabric layers, an inner baffle, and a front diffuser. Using both parts will soften your light considerably and reduce your output while removing one diffuser can help increase contrast or make shadows harsher. The softbox also comes with a fabric grid that narrows the softbox's beam spread while maintaining a soft quality of light. A bag is provided so you can easily fit and transport your modifier.
My issue with This Mod is the quality of the material. after the 3rd or 4th Use, The fabric tore from the stress of the fabric stretching over the inner rods. maybe It was assembled wrong at the factory,But the material was really taut and stretched to It's limit. I had to tape it to cover the light leak... this review is of a unit I bought in late 2018 I believe
I didn't see a review similar to mine, so maybe I just got a defective unit. I really had High Hopes thinking it would give me similar light quality of a parabolic umbrella but with a focused direction

I’ve used it 5 times. I quit using it because I lost the front diffuser. I was willing to purchase a front diffuser and have contacted multiple venders but have gotten nowhere. I contacted Phottix directly. Days later, they offered to sell me a grid. I have one. No front diffusers are being sold separately.
I have food shots to capture for a fine dining restaurant and was hoping to use this softbox. After setting it up in the studio to prep for the shoot, I noticed multiple holes with light bleeding through. I take good care of my gear and expect it to last with easy use. I am not comfortable with setting this up for a client’s shoot. Five uses for a softbox that costs $150 and falling apart is a bit too much money to spend.

Will the Cheetahstand Low-Profile Bowen's speed ring fit the Raja softboxes?

Unfortunately, this softbox has only been tested with speed rings of the same brand, so there is no guarantee that another brand can work.
