A single Amaran AL-F7 is approximately equivalent to 160 Watt Incandescent bulb without a reflector at a distance of 15 feet from subject About 2400 Lumen incandescent equivalent (no reflector) I use two amaran AL-F7 with a 1/4 20 male to 1/4 20 male adapter ( rubber washers) to get aprox 300 Watts equivalent @ 20 feet https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1069592-REG/kupo_kg007412_1_4_20m_to.html Beyond 20 - 25 feet, I'd need a better camera I have a generic camcorder, not even prosumer grade I have the lightest diffusor on each now, so a bit less output than I stated above

There is no grid option for the Aputure Amaran AL-F7. However, there is the Chimera Lightbank for Aputure AL-F7. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1578719-REG/chimera_1607_lightbank_for_aputure_al_f7.html
