I'm a Verizon customer but looked this up online for you. They don't want us to include links here, but the T-Mobile site does have detailed info on how to set up wi-fi calling with the LG V30.By the way, you're going to absolutely LOVE the camera!

Does this have Band 71/600 MHz (new T-Mobile band) support?
According to TMobile support the answer is a definite yes. There is a lot of confusion around this, but support checked with higher level of tech support and they said yes definitely.

Unlike the original model, the specs for the Moroccan Blue states that there is no infrared, is this correct?
The LG V30S does not have an IR blaster.

I'm on AT&T and unfortunately I cannot see Wi-fi the calling option. Forums are stating AT&T doesn't allow this feature on non-AT&T branded phones. Boo AT&T!!!
