The V30S is a US variant. The V30S's LTE radio is tuned to frequencies that are most often used in the United States and North America. It can also be used in other parts of the world; however, LTE access may be limited or unsupported, depending on the network. Durable Design
LG has constructed the V30S to be able to withstand the elements and survive the damage that can come from everyday use. The entire phone is IP68 rated for dust- and water-resistance, as well as passing MIL-STD-810G testing for shock-resistance. The sides of the phone are made from aluminum, and the front and back are encased in Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
