CyberPower OR1000PFC Overview

The OR1000PFCRT2U PFC Sinewave UPS from CyberPower is a 2 RU rackmount convertible device with line-interactive topology that provides surge protection and battery backup via sinewave output for department servers, workgroup servers, network devices, and telecom equipment requiring Active PFC power source compatibility. It comes equipped with an output capacity of 1000 VA / 700W, features an input voltage range of 86-142 VAC at 60 Hz to help correct minor power fluctuations without switching to battery power, which helps extend battery life and is useful in areas where power fluctuations occur. This UPS provides an integrated LCD panel for displaying immediate and detailed information on the UPS battery and power conditions, alerting users to potential problems before they can affect critical equipment and cause downtime.

When running with a full load, this UPS can power devices for up to 6.6 minutes. When running with a half load of 350W, it can power devices for up to 17.9 minutes. It can be recharged in around 10 hours and offers eight total NEMA 5-15R outlets that can absorb up to 1470 joules for keeping your devices safe against surges and spikes. To keep your devices powered during blackouts and brownouts, all eight outlets also provide battery power. Other connections offered are serial, USB Type-B, RJ11 phone and RJ45 10/100 Ethernet (1-in, 1-out), and an Emergency Power Off (EPO) port.

This power supply is ENERGY STAR qualified with GreenPower UPS Bypass technology for reducing energy consumption and heat buildup to help save energy costs. Included with the power supply is the PowerPanel Business Edition UPS management software, which enables centralized power management, monitoring, control, and configuration. It also provides for the safe shutdown of connected servers, workstations, and other devices via a standard web browser or network management system (NMS), as well as allows admins to remotely manage each aspect of the UPS, facilitate the orderly automatic shutdown of connected equipment, prioritize outlets, and increase battery backup runtimes for the most critical equipment in the event of an extended power outage. This CyberPower UPS provides a limited lifetime connected equipment guarantee of up to $300,000, a limited 3-year product warranty and includes two rackmount brackets, two vertical stands, a telephone cable, an EPO cable, and a USB Type-A to Type-B cable.

General Features
Battery Backup
Supplies power long enough for equipment to properly shut down when utility power fails. Helps prevent loss of data and minimizes the component stress caused by a hard shutdown.
Surge Protection
Diverts excess voltage away from sensitive electronic equipment during an AC power surge or power spike to help prevent damage.
Data Line Protection
Helps prevent power surges that travel through telephone and Ethernet lines from causing damage to electronics.
Line-Interactive Topology
Exists when a line-interactive UPS has an auto-transformer that regulates low voltages, such as brownouts, and over voltages, such as spikes, without having to switch to its battery.
Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)
Provides clean, consistent AC power by automatically increasing (boosting) low voltage without using battery power when incoming utility power experiences minor fluctuations.
Sine Wave Output
Provides power protection to ENERGY STAR 6.0 systems with Active PFC power supplies.
GreenPower UPS Bypass Design
This is a patented design that allows utility power to bypass the UPS transformer when AC power is stable, which helps reduce energy consumption, noise, and heat buildup.
Rotatable Multi-Function LCD Panel
Displays immediate, detailed information on the UPS battery and power conditions, alerting users to potential problems before they can affect critical equipment and cause downtime. The rotatable panel is easily readable whether the UPS is rack mounted or standing as a tower.
Quiet Design
Helps minimize noise during operation for a quieter work environment.
PowerPanel Business Edition Software
Provides IT professionals with tools for monitoring and managing the UPS and backup power. This software offers remote management functionality.
Limited 3-Year Warranty
CyberPower will repair or replace a defective UPS system (including batteries) within three years of the purchase date.
Connected Equipment Guarantee
CyberPower will repair or replace properly connected equipment if it is damaged by a power surge.
