CyberPower OR2200 Overview

Boasting six NEMA 5-15R outlets and two NEMA 5-20R outlets, a maximum load of 2,000VA, and line-interactive topology, the PFC Sinewave 2000VA UPS from CyberPower delivers battery backup and surge protection suitable for services such as department and workgroup servers, network devices, telecom appliances, and pro-audio and video equipment.

The PFC Sinewave 2000VA UPS features a 10-hour recharge time and automatic voltage regulation (AVR), which helps regulate brownouts, spikes, and other minor power fluctuations without having to resort to battery power. The UPS also supports sine-wave output, allowing it to provide power protection to ENERGY STAR 6.0-compliant computers, peripherals, and other IT devices that depend on Active Power Factor Correction (Active PDC) power supplies. Audible alarms can warn of on-battery, low-battery, and overload conditions. CyberPower offers a $300,000 guarantee for equipment properly connected to the PFC Sinewave 2000VA UPS.

Battery Backup
Supplies power long enough for equipment to properly shut down when utility power fails. Helps prevent loss of data and minimizes the component stress caused by a hard shutdown.
Surge Protection
Diverts excess voltage away from sensitive electronic equipment during an AC power surge or power spike to prevent damage.
Data Line Protection
Prevents power surges that travel through telephone and Ethernet lines from causing damage to electronics.
Line Interactive Topology
Exists when a line interactive UPS has an auto-transformer that regulates low voltages (e.g., brownouts) and over voltages (e.g., spikes) without having to switch to battery.
Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)
Provides clean, consistent AC power by automatically increasing (boosting) low voltage without using battery power when incoming utility power experiences minor fluctuations.
GreenPower UPS Bypass Design
A patented design that allows current to bypass the transformer and automatic voltage regulation (AVR) when utility power is normal, thus reducing energy consumption and associated costs. Because utility power functions normally most of the time, the bypass design allows for substantial energy savings. This technology also reduces heat generation, an important factor in decreasing operating costs.
Rotatable Multifunction LCD Panel
Displays immediate, detailed information on the UPS battery and power conditions, alerting users to potential problems before they can affect critical equipment and cause downtime. The rotatable panel is easily readable whether the UPS is rack mounted or standing as a tower.
PowerPanel Business Edition Software
Provides IT professionals with tools for monitoring and managing the UPS and backup power. This software offers remote management functionality.

It appears to be amazing at its job. My only complaint, like many of you I am not a IT specialist-but I can usually find my way around if the user manual or tech support are decent. This model appears to support a LCD that can be orientated for vertical or horizontal install- it shows this exact model configured both ways on cyberpowers home page for this product. But I can't figure it out. User manual says zippo, user manual says nothing about a menu system through LCD by holding button down, but you get into some menu system if you hold button down. Go to CP's tech support, you get quicker help if you were a stranded Boeing astronaut. You might end up really sort of regretting this purchase if you value a good user manual or tech support
