The one I gotten are metal wheels with rubber tires and actual bearings.
Rolls perfectly even loaded to the extreme.
I will admit, I'm fairly hard on it and abuse it fairly bad.

This model still works with all of the quick shelf and solid deck products of the original R12RT.
