Designed to fit all Vixen refractors with M60 Threads, the Alpine Astronomical Baader 2" ClickLock Eyepiece Clamp is a unique eyepiece mounting system that is superior to conventional mountings. Unlike compression ring and set screw holders, the ClickLock system uses three long roller bearings to hold the eyepiece firmly centered in place without marking or marring it, while eliminating the wobble and off-axis tilt. A simple 20° twist locks and unlocks the clamping system for fast eyepiece changes even while wearing gloves. There is no need to fumble with small set screws or for using excessive force and torque to hold the eyepiece in a fixed position.
- Replaces Stock Compression Holders

Best 2 Visual Back for Late Model Vixens
I bought this to allow my Vixen FL-102S to take 2 eyepieces. The focuser has a 60mm thread, so this adapter threads right in. I purchased this based on high-praise of the adapters quality, and I have no complaints there. The problem I have found is that after the adapter is threaded in, you insert the eyepiece/diagonal, and rotate the clicklock clockwise to lock it in. There is no real stop you just keep rotating until it is as tight as you need. The problem is when you make it too tight, when you turn counter-clockwise to remove the eyepiece, it causes the adapter to unthread from the focuser drawtube. This device is still new to me and I am experimenting with how much force the clicklock needs to secure the diagonal/imaging train without coming unthreaded when changing.
