Designed to fit Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes (SCTs) with large 3.25" visual back threads, the Alpine Astronomical Baader 2" ClickLock Eyepiece Clamp is a unique eyepiece mounting system that is superior to conventional mountings. Unlike compression ring and set screw holders, the ClickLock system uses three long roller bearings to hold the eyepiece firmly centered in place without marking or marring it, while eliminating the wobble and off-axis tilt. A simple 20° twist locks and unlocks the clamping system for fast eyepiece changes even while wearing gloves. There is no need to fumble with small set screws or for using excessive force and torque to hold the eyepiece in a fixed position.
- Replaces Stock Compression Holders
- 3-Point Clamp for Accurate Centering

Alpine Astronomical CLSCL-2 Reviews
The positive quick lock latch provides peace of mind.
The Quick Lock visual back allows you to rotate the diagonal when the telecope moves from on object to another, without worrying that the diagnal may come loose.
Baader Clicklock visual back
I bought it for my Celestron C11. The output hole on this Baader Clicklock is much bigger than the factory visual back. To fully enjoy 2” wide field eyepieces this visual back is a must. The simple 20 degree turn will lockup even the heavy equipment you add to the visual back. On EQ mount the eyepiece orientation changes as the mount slews and the Clicklock makes repositioning the eyepiece very easy and secure. No more thumb screws to turn. Highly recommended.
I purchased this for a Celestron 9.35 Edge HD and fits perfectly. The 2 clicklock holds my diagonal/camera firmly and is easy to reposition with a twist of the clicklock.
Baader Clicklock for SCT
Great addition. It allows me to rotate my diagonal so that the binoviewer is at an optimal position for observation. Holds everything securely. Highly recommended.
