So easy to use, great resolution and a good correction of colors and brightness. Once you have your file, if you look for perfection and restoration you’ll need some good program. Be carefull of dust frum negatives and slides, because of statics you’ll have to remove it from scanner’s lens frequently. But anyway, great solution to old negatives and sludes!!!

question

HelloNice to see the improvement on this type of scanners! This could be a great model.Could you answer is it able to save tiff format or only jpg. Which size jpg files are saved by mascine?Thank you.
Asked by: Zoltn S.
This is a quick, easy and thus simple machine. Therefore it outputs to only JPEG, no TIFF. You could convert to TIFF in your processing program if you wish. You are given a choice of 14Mp or an up-rezed interpolation of 22Mp. These resolutions are great for the web or prints up to 4 x 6 .

power assembly instructions ?

power assembly instructions ?
Asked by: Charlene
The device is powered through a USB port on the side of the unit. The "power assembly" such as it is, consists of a USB cable and an AC adapter. The large end of the USB cable fits into the AC adapter and the AC adapter is plugged into an AC outlet. The smaller fitting on the other end of the cable fits into the USB port, or opening, on the side of the scanner.

Is it possible to view the slides/negatives without scanning?
Asked by: Mary Beth
Yes - you can view both slides an negatives without scanning or even a SD card in the device. Just be aware that you do however still need to power the unit by supplied leads which gives you a variety of sources. It’s an excellent compact and lightweight device.
