Mount your Nikon F-mount lens on a Hasselblad X-mount medium format mirrorless camera with this Novoflex Lens Adapter. This adapter has a simple, fully manual, and durable all-metal design for intuitive and straightforward use. It features a built-in aperture control ring to enable the use of G-type Nikon F-mount lenses, which lack a manual aperture ring. While this adapter will maintain infinity focus and the use of aperture priority metering, it does not relay electronic communication between the camera and lens, and also does not support the use of Nikon E-type lenses.

Novoflex HAX/NIK Reviews
This works perfectly with my Nikkor and Zeiss Milvus lenses!
I have had my X1D II now for 10 days. I purchased the Novoflex adapter to hopefully use at least some of my large collection of premium Nikkor 'gold ring' lenses and Zeiss Milvus (50, 85, 135) lenses. I know the Novoflex adapter is not intended to work with Nikkor 'e' lenses - since those apertures are electronically controlled, However, they do work but only with the aperture fully open since the Novoflex adapter cannot control electronic apertures. My Zeiss Milvus 50mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.4, and 135mm f/2 lenses all have aperture rings, so those apertures can be precisely set on the lens, rather with the Novoflex. I am including three photographs I took with my Nikkor 105mm f/1.4e mounted on the Hasselblad - of course with the aperture fully open. The coverage of the lens projection and subject isolation on the larger medium format sensor was excellent. I am thrilled I can use my large collection of lenses I purchased for my Nikon D850s with the Hasselblad's electronic shutter.
Minimizing or eliminating vignetting
This is a typical high quality Novoflex product. Fit of Nikon F lenses and fit to the Hasselblad XCD mount is properly snug. It works as its' designers intended. However, if your use case does NOT encompass the use of Nikon F mount type G lenses but you intend to use this adapter with lenses having an aperture control ring you do NOT need the aperture control mechanism built into this adapter. This mechanism substantially reduces the inside diameter of the adapter. The reduced diameter causes varying degrees of vignetting determined by focal length and the design of each individual lens. At the price of being unable to use Nikon F mount type G lenses (for most practical purposes) it's possible to modify this adapter by removal of material from the inside diameter to a point where in most, but not all, cases the outer portion of the image circle will be substantially less affected. Paint all areas where you've exposed bare metal flat black so that flare does not result from your work.
