FotodioX PKAF-MFT Reviews
Works as designed
This product does exactly what it is designed to do. It adapts a K mount lens to a micro 43 mount. The adapter has no intelligence, it communicates nothing to the camera or lens. It works with all K mount lenses as long as they have mechanical manual focus and mechanical aperture. An aperture ring is not required, but will make aperture selection more accurate. Using the device with a lens without an aperture ring involves turning a ring and steplessly stopping down the aperture. My method of getting mostly accurate apertures is to meter wide open, then turn the ring watching exposure indicators. If I stop down the ring and shutter speed doubles I know I’ve increased my aperture by 1 stop. Using this method I can tune in what aperture I want. Note that PLM lenses use focus by wire and will not focus on this adapter. KAF4 mount lenses have electronic aperture and can only be used wide open.
Totally garbage
Don't buy. wiggling on both end when connected. The lock pin is very loose. the model they sent to me wasn't even the same model as shown on the picture.
