This PolarPro Brass Step-Up Ring allows you to use 82mm threaded filters on lenses with 62mm filter threads. It has knurled sides to provide a more textured grip when mounting or removing it from a lens. This step-up ring features brass construction to prevent binding and jamming, and a matte black finish to minimize reflections.

I stopped using this and a 62-82mm ring after I tried the Breakthrough Photography step up rings. These snag on my clothes and cleaning cloths and the thread depth where they screw into the lens is shallow. Good overall build but the Breakthrough rings are just that much better. Since I can't return these anymore, I'm not sure what to do with them. Waste of money.
Pros: Aggressive knurling makes it very easy to grip Brass construction holds it's shape well, making it very easy to use Includes a very nice case... Cons: The flat area should really be more matte to prevent reflection glare It's not very thin Excessive (very wasteful) packaging. The packaging and case are probably $10 of the cost I'll never use the included case This step up ring is just super easy to use and that really counts for a lot.
