Install your audio equipment up to 40' from your source with the SVS SoundPath Wireless Audio Adapter. It allows you to transmit audio signals from the 1/8" or RCA output of your source device to a subwoofer, amplifier, or powered speaker system up to 40' away, within line of sight. It outputs in 16-bit/48 kHz CD-quality audio to help minimize loss of quality. It includes mono and stereo 1/8"-to-RCA adapter cables for virtually instant installation.

Subwoofers are typically the largest component in any audio or home theater system, so placement can be a challenge. The SoundPath Wireless Audio Adapter adds wireless connectivity, giving you more subwoofer placement options and decreasing cable clutter.
Full-Range Wireless Connectivity
The full frequency response allows the adapter to unlock wireless connectivity for a stereo zone of loudspeakers, powered home theater surround sound speakers, amplifiers, and more at CD quality with a low latency of <25.5 ms within the 2.4 GHz frequency band.

Set-up was fast and easy. I’m using it with a single SVS SB-3000 subwoofer, and the SoundPath receiver can connect to the power source on the back of that subwoofer. If your subwoofer doesn’t have that capability, then the device can get power from a USB source or a standard outlet. Once connected, pairing the transmitter and receiver was automatic and instantaneous. SoundPath allows experimentation with different subwoofer placements without having to worry about cables, and for future relocation. My current configuration has the subwoofer and receiver 22 feet away from the transmitter in a location that would have been almost impossible with cables. The instructions recommend a clear line of sight between receiver and transmitter (in my case, the line of sight was not perfect, but there were no hard obstacles).  The device warns you of lost connectivity with a blinking light (you can easily re-pair the devices with the reset button), which I have not had to do.  I haven’t experienced interference from phone or other devices, although the nearest internet router is nowhere near the SoundPath receiver or transmitter.   One minor complaint:  Both the receiver and transmitter have blue LEDs that emit an annoyingly bright light. You may want to consider covering those up. Overall, this was a great addition to my system, as there is absolutely no loss in functionality, and the transmitter and receiver are minimally intrusive.

Yes the SVS SoundPath Wireless Audio Adapter includes an 1/8'' to RCA adapter for that compatibility of using a subwoofer as well.

Does it work well in the next room with a wall in between? (only about 12 feet away)

While specifically designed for line of sight use, it can work for a shorter distance, 10-20 feet, with an obstacle like a modern interior wall.

What if the amplifier does not have an RCA output -only speaker level out?

An amplifier that only has speaker outputs would not be compatible with this wireless system.

Can I connect this to my Marantz PM6006 amplifier? It does not have a dedicated sub output.

You would do that by going from the receiver into one of the RCA inputs on the Marantz amplifier. Your sound source would connect to the transmitter, from the RCA output or 1/8" output of that audio source.
