I got this because I was curious if this could make a good battery mounting plate for my rig. I noticed the top and bottom 1/4 20 mounting points might serve me well coupled with Smallrig's 2 pack Rail Block kit. And it did. It's a great setup for my rig as I run top and bottom rails for accessories.

Yes, the SmallRig Multipurpose Cheese Plate for Blackmagic URSA Mini is designed for the upper portion of the formfactor of the Blackmagic Design URSA Broadcast G2. The original handle will not attach directly to the cheeseplate.
