Yes, the bottom of the SmallRig Tripod Mounting Kit with 2 x Plates and 2 x 15mm Rod Clamps has threads in it's base which allow the base plate to mount to tripod camera plates, such as the plate found on top of the Manfrotto 502AH.

How can you mount this on to a tripod? The quick release plate I have (the one that comes with VILTROX VX 18M tripod) doesn't fit at all this "tripod" mounting kit.
If you remove the safety pin from your plate, this should mount using the standard 1/4''-20 screw.
