Per my review of the SmallRig handle, this works great on my Sony FX9 in conjunction with the Sony right side handle grip. I use the SmallRig Handgrip with the (Cheese-Style) ARRI-Style Rosette and together they are the perfect answer for shoulder mounted run and gun shooting. Great prices really seal the deal!

How much play is there in the extension arm? Is there some wiggle or is it rock solid?

The SmallRig 1870 Adjustable Extension Arm is extremely secure because of the use of ARRI Rosette mounts, which locks the connection between the arm and the receiver through its special design.
