I got these along with the 4 set for various rigging applications on my Komodo X, specifically for gimbal use since these are so light. Great rods at a good price.

have several of these lengths now and all work fine. Even the long ones supporting a 200-600 zoom do not show much flex. Reasonable results at every use.

Do these have two female end M12 threads on each side like the aluminium versions? So you can bridge two separate carbon fiber rods and make a longer one?
No. Best bet is buying aluminum, threads can be machined into metal, not sure if carbon threaded rods exist/are reliable.

How do these attach to the small rig cage? or do they come with that piece that attaches to the rig on the 3rd image?
The SmallRig 15mm Carbon Fiber Rod Set (12"), like any 15mm rod, would be held in plave by a clamping system, which are most commonly found on base plates and shoulder rigs, but can also be purchased for different mounting setups/accessories as well. Whether or not your SmallRig cage has a base plate included depends on the cage, and how you purchased it, but if it doesn't have a base plate, one can be purchased and added on.
