Anybody try this as a replacement for the following standard Manfrotto screw? https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/775726-REG/manfrotto_r116_138_set_2_viti_1_4.html I hate having to find a coin to unscrew tripod plates.

Will this work with the "SmallRig L-Series Battery Adapter Plate (Advanced Ed)"? I've lost the 1/4-20 screw that came with it.

The SmallRig 838 Quick Release Camera Screw with D-Ring (1/4"-20, Pair) would be able to be used with the SmallRig L-Series/NP-F Battery Adapter Plate (Advanced Edition), but note that the screw distance may be slightly longer than the originally provided screw.

Does the d-ring stay put once you move it down to the side, or is it loose where it flops around?

Thanks. I know it's a 1/4" screw. My concern is the diameter of the head+ring which is not indicated in the diagram or the text description. Does anyone know that diameter?

Does anyone know the length of these screws? Seems like that should be listed in the Specs.

The SmallRig 838 Quick Release Camera Screw with D-Ring (1/4"-20, Pair) is 14.5mm from the base to the end. The length of the screw (not counting the flat base) is 10.5mm.
