This B&H Kit includes the Rode VideoMic Pro+ battery-powered shotgun microphone with a 3-stage gain adjustment and two tone-enhancing settings, a shoe-/boompole-compatible Rycote Lyre shockmount attached to the mic, and a Rycote Mini Windjammer furry windshield, providing a flexible mic setup for quality indoor or outdoor audio recording using any camcorder or HDSLR camera, no plug-in power required. The Rycote windshield slips over the VideoMic Pro+ to deliver effective wind noise reduction and tonal transparency without impeding the microphone's shockmount or cable run.

The Rode VideoMic Pro+ can be connected to a smartphone or computer when using adapters to enable compatibility. The mic does not have Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity built-in. You can use a USB audio interface/adapter like the Audio-Technica Consumer ATR2x-USB 3.5mm to USB 2.0 Type-C Audio Adapter (B&H # AUATR2XUSB) to connect the microphone to your OnePlus Nord 2 smartphone as well as to connect to your computer. The mic's 3.5mm TRS cable will connect to the input on the interface and it also has a headphone jack to monitor the audio. The attached USB-C connector will plug into your phone and also into your computer. It also includes a USB Type-A adapter which you can use if your computer has a USB Type-A port.
