The Oben QR-53 Long Lens Quick Release Plate is an aluminum-constructed Arca-type dovetail plate that provides quick release functionality to larger telephoto lenses. It is compatible with cameras and smaller telephoto lenses as well. The 5.3" long plate has two slide-adjusting, 1/4"-20 mounting screws that mount to the bottom of a lens collar foot, and one of the screws can be removed in case the foot has only one socket. The screws provide a secure fit by tightening down with the D-rings, but you can also use the included hex key or a screwdriver in the slot. Two safety stops prevent the plate from sliding out if a clamp is accidentally opened.

The two mounting screws are 1/4-inch, #20 size which is the predominant size for camera and lens mounts. It should fit correctly. However I suggest referring to the manual of specifications that came with your lens to confirm.

Can you mount this plate to the camera using one of the included screws with the hole in the middle of the plate?

You could attach it to your camera but I definitely would not recommend it, the plate will twist under the camera. This plate is meant for a long tele lens only.
