The 5.9" QR-59 Long Lens Quick Release Plate from Oben is designed to securely mount large lenses with tripod collars and camera systems. This sturdy aluminum plate is compatible with most Arca-type heads and gimbals. The single 4.5" slot allows for spacing the mounting screws to exactly match individual lens collars. One 3/8"-16 and two 1/4"-20 camera mounting screws are included and they can be easily removed and configured to match any lens foot. A rubber safety stopper prevents them from falling out.

Oben Long Lens Quick Release Plate Overview

For extra security, the QR-59 long quick release plate is equipped with two safety studs that prevent the plate from accidentally sliding out of the clamp. Ten rubber traction pads prevent equipment from slipping and twisting once the collar is attached

For Large Lenses

This 5.9" quick release plate is compatible with most Arca-style mounts, and is designed to make mounting a large telephoto lens to a tripod head or gimbal a lot easier. Its single 4.5" long spacing slot allows the mounting screws to be positioned exactly where needed.

Compatible with Most Lens Collars

Two 1/4"-20 and one 3/8"-16 mounting screws ensure compatibility with most Canon lens collars. Replace the 3/8"-16 screw with another 1/4"-20 (not included) and the QR-59 is compatible with most Nikon collars. The mounting screws can be tightened using the built-in D-ring, the included hex key, or a slotted screwdriver for a snug and secure connection.

Rubber Safety Stopper

The 4.5" long spacing slot includes a rubber safety stopper that prevents the 1/4"-20 screws from accidentally falling. The hole lets you remove one of the screws and the stopper ensures it won't mysteriously disappear.

As long as you have the correct head for the tripod to lock onto the teeth of the Oben QR-59 Long Lens Quick Release Plate you will be absolutely fine. As far as if the lens compatibility, you will have no issues.

The Oben QR-53 Long Lens Quick Release Plate (5.3") does work but not very well with the Canon RF 200-800mm f/6.3-9 IS USM Lens (Canon RF). Best for that lens is to use either one of these, B&H # WIAP606 or B&H # LECF06, https://bhpho.to/3Gn9Pq0.
