To connect the LaCie 10TB d2 Professional USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 External Hard Drive to a computer with USB-A 3.0 ports, you can use a USB-C to USB-A cable like the Pearstone USB-C 3.1 to USB-A Charge & Sync Cable (3'), B&H # PEUSB313CMA3, or a USB-C to USB-A adapter like the Angelbird USB Type-C Female to USB Type-A Male Adapter, B&H # ANUSBAC.

Wont copy files over 20gb, can you help me?
Asked by: Jack
Fat 32 has a much smaller max size than 20 Gig. Try reformatting and double check the format you choose. Are you having any other Finder problems? (Win or Mac system?) Try running a disc check utility. Do you have any other external drives connected? If so, try disconnecting everything but the problem drive and check it again. If it still is showing the same problem, maybe you could return the drive for a replacement.

Can this be used to back Apple Time Machine and left on 24/7? One answer says it can't be left on 24/7
Asked by: Helen
The LaCie 10TB d2 Professional USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 External Hard Drive can be used for Apple Time Machine; however, it is not rated for 24/7 operation. While it technically will work for 24/7 hour operation, this is not advised and can heavily impact the drive's lifespan, which can lead to data loss.
