Tenba Roadie 20 Overview

Comfortably carry two gripped DSLR or mirrorless cameras, up to eight lenses, and related accessories with the black Tenba Roadie 20 Backpack. The pack has rear access to camera gear, and front access to other items. There's also a separate compartment for a laptop up to 17". Inside the main compartment are padded touch-fastening dividers, and clear mesh accessory pockets. The exterior front zip compartment has a variety of pockets, and the side of the pack has a large pocket for accessories, or for securing a compact tripod.

Carry the Roadie 20 Backpack with the top or side handles, roll it with the adjustable rear trolley strap, or wear it with the padded shoulder straps. For added comfort and stability, the pack features a padded back panel, a padded removable waist belt, and a sternum strap. The bottom of the pack is reinforced for weather and abrasion protection. Photographers will appreciate the included weather cover.

Clean lines and a high-end luggage aesthetic with minimal branding ensure a professional look without drawing unwanted attention to the gear inside.
Meets most international carry-on standards–but check with your carrier before departure.
Holds two Mirrorless or DSLR cameras (up to pro size with grip) with 6-8 lenses (up to 400mm f2.8), or a Canon, RED, or Sony cine camera with 3-5 lenses, plus audio gear (headphones, recorder), tripod, monopod or shotgun mic, and a laptop up to 17 inches. Will also hold a DJI Mavic and other compact drones.
The quick access top compartment allows easy access to your most commonly used gear (lenses, headphones, mics, recorders etc).
An expandable zippered side pocket lets you stash a tripod in just a few seconds. Also holds compact light stands, shot mics or a monopod. Stows flat against the bag when not in use.
Contoured shoulder harness and hip belt provide comfort and support when carrying large camera systems, and high-density foam padding won't compress or break down over time or with heavy use. Waist belt is easily removable when not needed.
A front padded sleeve protects a laptop up to 17 inches and can be opened quickly at airport security.
Secure rear camera access to the main camera compartment is located on the harness side, which provides safety and security when working in unfamiliar or crowded locations. Equipment cannot be removed from the front side while the bag is being carried.
Body armor base panel at the bottom of the Roadie has a TPU-coated water- and abrasion-resistant exterior that protects from wet and/or dirty surfaces and is easy to wipe clean.
Water-repellent 1680D ballistic nylon exterior, ripstop nylon interior, YKK zippers/clips, and heavily-reinforced stitching.
Reinforced top and side handles make the Roadie comfortable to carry even when fully loaded. Waterproof full-grain leather trim improves grip.
Front organizer pockets allow quick access to your passport, memory cards, batteries, cables and other items.
Low-profile EVA foam dividers provide the protection of thicker dividers but with less weight and bulk.

LOVE this camera bag

Bought this bag to replace my Think Tank bag and I love it. Very well made and can fit a ton a gear, I have an FX6 with wireless video and space for 4 lenses, my monitor, batteries and filters all inside of the bag and it doesn't feel super heavy. The strap inside the middle of the bag that attaches to a rolled carry on bag is excellent as well.

Bought this bag primarily to travel with as my carry-on for air travel. Essentially, I've eliminated two bags and now have one. I've packed a comical amount of gear in this bag. It holds it all. I have a 15.6 Dell G15 laptop, large charger, hdmi cable, hard drive, mouse, controller, tons of extra cables, audio gear including zoom h5 and lav mics, full-size headphones, DSLR body, 70-200mm f/2.8 + 3 more lenses, base plates, batteries, sd card case, room for about 2 more lenses/accessories, and a CF tripod in the side pocket. The bag is heavy, obviously. With the tripod in my checked bag, the backpack comes in at a whopping 32lbs! The straps around the waist and sternum help distribute the weight nicely. It's comfortable. Other nice features include the option to put a TSA lock on the camera compartment. Plenty of extra dividers and cushions to cater to whatever crazy setup you need. I like that the laptop isn't on the side that opens up with your camera gear. The top compartment fits my headphones and battery pack for quick access. Underneath that, is the camera compartment which is sealed off with velcro, but also means you can modify the top and easily access your gear. Tenba hit this one out of the park.

Is there a place to hold a water bottle?
Asked by: Sepehr
It's too bad that I have to decide between either a tripod or water bottle. Seems like it would've easy to either add another pocket on the opposite side or add some tie downs.

The back camera compartment has a hole where you can add a TSA lock to it. The rest are normal YKK zippers

Will this fit under airline seat?
Asked by: William M.
I don't think I was supposed to fit this under an airline seat, because of how full I had it, but it somehow fit. This was on a Boeing 737-700, fyi.

question

What would fit in the top pocket? A 5Dmkiii with the 40mm pancake lens attached? Or a Hasselblad 501cm with the wlf and 80mm?
Asked by: Brett S.
The Hasselblad will probably fit on its side. The length of the Hasselblad and lens is similar to the width of the top compartment. The Canon body would fit easily.
