Huge SmallRig fan here. NATO rail is well made. The spring-loaded safety pins on each end function smoothly and offer peace of mind that NATO attachments won't just fall off the rail if their clamp works loose. This rail is also lower profile (not as tall) as others, which may be a problem for certain setups but works well for mine.

Have two. LH arm of my two Manfrotto double gimbals. Very neat. Carry my CamRanger II. Far better than clipping to the camera body. Why, oh! why, not Picatinny? All the unnecessary incompatability. Vile brass springy buttons. I have a bag of them.
