I moved from a Canon 80d to a Canon r10 and didn't want to upgrade to another weather resistant camera. B&H suggested this fix, and it's been great. And it's adorable and lightweight. Hooray.

Small is much too big

I don't know what they were thinking, but this is huge for a small. The distance from the hotshoe to the lens front is way too long, and more importantly the actually lens enclosure is way too big, and the design for dealing with the excess is very poorly designed. I have it on an 82mm diameter lens and it's still much too big. Very disappointed and would not recommend it to anyone.

Would the small or medium case fit better for the Canon RF 70-200 2.8 lens?
Asked by: Elizabeth
The Think Tank Photo Emergency Rain Cover (Small) is 11.5’’ long from the shoe mount attachment to the front of the rain cover. Therefore, you can cover your Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM Lens even when it's fully extended and the lens hood is attached.

Would this small or the medium be the size to get for use with both Canon RF 24-70 and RF 100-500?
Asked by: Johnny
Regarding the Think Tank Photo Emergency Rain Cover (Small), the large Think Tank Photo Emergency Rain Cover would be a better fit for super-telephoto lenses like the Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM Lens.

For the small version at 12.2" long, is that the length from the tip of the lens to the view screen at the back of the camera, or the length of the entire bag down to its bottom? opening?
Asked by: Ian
The 12.2 inches is the length from the back of the cover to the lens. While your camera and 24-70mm lens might only be about 9 inches total in length, the extra 3 inches is to provide space for your hands.
