DVDO AIR-4K Reviews
Will not work with Ultrawide display
I purchased 3 of these to setup in a dental office that is using dual LQ Ultrawide 34 monitors. We are using Windows 10 duplicate / mirroring of the displays but the resolution will not stay the same on both monitors no matter what resolution we choose. I contacted DVDO support and they were not able to resolve. They have not had that scenario / question before. I ended up using the one I opened in another room that has standard size 27 4K screens and the extender kit works perfectly on those screens.
2nd test, works great
First test I could only get HD from my GH5 camera and a short range. Then testing again, I was able to get a7SII and GH5 to send 4K at least 20 feet, so exactly what was trying to do. Not sure what happened the first day.
Affordable 4K transmitter
It's intended for short range like across a room. If you need longer range, going HD or spending more money for larger antennas would be better choices.
I thought it would cost me a lot of troubles to connect all my sources via reciever with projector on a ceiling. So instead of huge and expensive HDMI cable I have this all wireless.
