If i put the receiver in a cabinet will it still transmit to a tv 15 ft. Away? Or does it need to be line of site

For the DVDO Air 4K 2160p/30 HDMI Wireless Extender Kit (30'+) BH #DVAIR4K, it is made to be Line-of-Sight Connection. However even though this is what is listed at times I have found that they will still work between walls and cabinets. Unfortunately the only way to find out if it will work for you is to test it.

According to DVDO, the Transmitter is only able to transmit a Wireless Signal to the One Receiver it is packaged with. Unfortunately the Transmitter is not able to send Multiple wireless signals to Multiple Receivers.
