Copying your documents to the WD 5TB My Passport Ultra USB 3.0 Type-C External Hard Drive (Blue), B&H # WEBFTM0050BB, will free up disk space on the source disk as long as you delete the documents from the source disk once the transfer has completed and you are 100% sure that everything was copied successfully.

Why is the 5TB double the thickness of the 2TB? I really hope they didn't put 2 HDDs in there.

Thank you Moe. You need to fix the specs listing if they are truly the same. Also the photos. If you look closely you will notice a different thickness on the 2TB and 5TB.
