Bought this for my Fujifilm GFX 100S II. Using it for astronomy photography. Works well to prevent camera shake during long exposures.

What is the benefit of using this remote when it is not wireless ?
Asked by: Lam
A wired remote is more reliable and does not require batteries. The only downside is that you can't trigger the camera from across the room...or somewhere beyond the reach of the cable.

A Fuji TX-2 rangefinder 35mm film camera would accept a standard cable release such as the Nikon AR-3 Threaded Cable Release, B&H # NIAR3. https://bhpho.to/2mgrWEJ

Q&A says this remote works with the xt-3, but the 2.5mm Jack is too small for the ports on the camera. Any suggestions?
Asked by: Angela
The user manual for my X-T50 says: "Use of an optional RR‑100 remote release requires a third-party adapter to convert the three-pin, φ2.5 mm connector to a three-pin, φ3.5 mm connector." This message is below the Parts of the Camera section in the user manual, corresponding to the diagram of the Microphone/Remote release connector. It seems Fujifilm did not include this note for previous cameras, but they should work the same way.
