Can you recommend a diffuser for this flash?
Asked by: Jose
WOW! I never thought about a diffuser for this Speedlite as it's very small. I bought it to have a small, lightweight flash to have available all the time on my EOS R. My 7D has a builtin flash that I use all the time. However, you might try one of the Vello or Sto-Fen light modifying products sold at B&H. Keep in mind that the EL-100 is very small.

I don't have a 6D however, I do have a mirrorless R and it does work with live view. So I would assume that it will work with the 6D.

Does any one know why the flash EL-100 shoots more than 200 on camera but off camera it doesn't?
Asked by: Mac
It could be that when its on the camera it has a direct light path to the subject when it is off the camera it could have a longer path to travel. On the other hand I think this a very simple flash that was designed to be an enhancement for use mainly on the camera has it has very few adjustments available for its use.

is the canon el-100 flash compatible with the canon rebel t8i ?
Asked by: Dan
I would presume that it would function fine. It is a dedicated Canon flash. It works very well on my 5D MkIII, 7D, EOS RP and G5X. I see no reason why it would not work on the Rebel T8i. If you have questions contact Canon tech services. I've found them to be very helpful.
