Grids are a must have for any production. These grids stay with all my lighting gear. The velcro makes attaching these a breeze. Highly recommend these!

Would this fit inside a Chimera 1x1 softbox (BH# ...

Would this fit inside a Chimera 1x1 softbox (BH# CHGF501X1), or is it necessary to use only the eggcrate from Chimera?

The Westcott version measures 15" x 15" to accommodate the wider opening of the Flex softbox. If those dimensions match and the Chimera has loop fabric(soft side) of the hook and loop/velcro style attachment fabric at the front of the box. Then the grid should work as designed.
