What balance plate model number is compatible with the top of this unit?
Asked by: Andrew
The ARRI CBP-4 Compact Bridge Plate for AMIRA (15mm Studio/15mm LWS) (B&H# ARK2.0019582) does not require a balance plate in order to be used with the ARRI AMIRA Camera Set with Advanced License - The Allrounder (B&H# ARK0.0001091), but it may be attached to a balance plate (which is essentially a cheese plate with very many female threads, i.e. taps, in it) in many places. The two (bridge and balance plates) are typically compatible with each other as long as the balance plate is one made for the specific camera model. However, as of this time (April 2022) B&H does not sell such a plate, nor are we aware of any that is available. That is likely because the AMIRA actually balances very well without one when a typical V-mount or Gold mount battery is installed behind it.
