Metallic sounds like it might be over the top or too flashy, but this paper has a beautiful subtle three dimensional sheen. My monochromes in this paper have a warm tone that is delicious. For the right projects it really makes the images pop. Lighting is essential though, to pick up the delicate shimmer.

A question for those who printed on this paper: what images did you find were most suited to it? If there's a way to post an image that would be great.
I especially like it for images that include water reflections and other types of reflections with highlights. One of the most unusual aspect of this paper is that the brightest and whitest areas will still print without seeming to 'blow out'. Therefore there is no gloss differential at all. The prints have a surreal element of seeming to float above the surface. It really is a wonderful, very expensive (!) paper.

It's a 'High Gloss Metallic' paper which is '100% cotton rag' & uses the Photo Black Ink on pigment printers. This is one of the beauties of Hahnemuhle Fine Art paper, cotton & can also be glossy.
