I was tired of always having a heavy camera hanging from my neck. It made taking photos while traveling or hiking cumbersome and made my neck sore. This does a decent job of combating that fatigue. However the strap could have been a little cushier. The extending and shortening is a little fiddly. It still feels a little bit too long for me.
I am very pleased with the quality of this strap. The clip that connects it to the camera is solid, plus there is the added security of the additional safety strap.
