Great camera strap! Works just as well as the more expensive ones. Seems very sturdy and I have no worries my camera will come off especially with the additional safety strap.

What are the fold over clips for on the strap? They seem unnecessary.

Is there any type of a quick release so you don't have to screw it into the camera and then unscrew it to put on a tripod?

Not really. The strap has a quick release clip to release the strap from the piece that screws into the camera. But, that piece has to be unscrewed in order to mount to a tripod. It is an inconvenience if you are wanting to utilize both back and forth. Otherwise I love my strap.
