Can the amplifier be bypassed to use as passive speakers?
Asked by: Anonymous
This is an active speaker, with the amplifiers built in, so it would not be used as a passive speaker. JBL LSR708i 8" Master Reference Monitor (Single), BH #JBLSR708I would be a very god quality passive reference monitor to consider.

Can you add a subwoofer?

Can you add a subwoofer?
Asked by: Steven
Yes, a subwoofer such as the JBL LSR310S 200W Powered 10" Subwoofer(BH #JBLSR310S) is a great pairing for the JBL 308P MkII Powered 8" Two-Way Studio Monitors. You would feed the subwoofer from your main output signal, then feed the monitors from the subwoofer outputs. Link to LSR310S here: https://bhpho.to/3DCLlTY

Good to use with AV receivers as Front right/left bookshelf speakers?
Asked by: Nagendra
These JBL studio monitors would sound great as front surround speakers, but they must come out of the pre amp, and given an audio only signal, because they have their own built-in power.
