It doesn't work!

I was excited to buy this new gadget because I have some Nikon F-Mount lenses that I wanted to use with my Canon R5 and R6. The adapter fits perfect and I was able to mount the lens with no problem. However, when I click the shutter, nothing happens. It won't let me take any photos.

I bought this adapter for use on my RED Komodo knowing that some reviewers said that they had difficulty removing the lens from the adapter. The price wasn't very much to take a chance. I can tell you the adapter worked flawlessly for me and I mounted my heavy Zeiss Otus 28mm F mount and a Nikon 70-200mm with ease. Removing the lens with the side button worked fine for me. There is no flimsy connection between camera or lens either. That's all you need to know.

This product allows Nikon F-Mount Lens to work on Canon RF-Mount Cameras. The 5D Mark III has an EF mount, this is not compatible with that camera.

Can I use my Nikon AF Micro-NIKKOR 60mm f/2.8D Lens on a Canon EOS RP mirrorless camera using this adapter?
Asked by: Elmer
You will lose autofocus if using a Nikon AF D lens. This means you will have to focus the lens manually.
