Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster 65mm f/1.4 Overview
Normal-length 65mm prime is designed for use with FUJIFILM G-mount medium format mirrorless cameras where it provides a 50mm equivalent focal length.
Fast f/1.4 maximum aperture benefits working in difficult lighting conditions and also enables extensive control over your focus position to benefit the use of selective focus and shallow depth of field techniques.
Two ultra-low dispersion elements and two high refractive index elements help to reduce chromatic aberrations and distortions throughout the aperture range for greater sharpness, clarity, and color accuracy.
Manual focus design offers a 2.3' minimum focusing distance along with a 1:4 maximum magnification ratio to suit working with close-up subjects.
Rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing out-of-focus quality when working with selective focus techniques.
Built-in retractable lens hood helps to block stray light from reaching the lens, preventing flare and ghosting.

given the price, I highly recommend it. Sure the bokeh is a wee bit "busy" but really overall, a very lovely effect. Buy to shoot wide open!

When purchasing, I knew this was going to be an amazing lens. I was still blown away by the super small plane of focus when opened up to f/1.4. That being said, I read that it was heavy, and was still surprised at the weight of it when I took it out of the box. When mounted to my GFX100S, it’s just under 5lbs all together. Still, a great creative lens, for a great price when compared to native GF glass.

If is a manual aperture lens so you set your ISO, shutter speed and then turn the aperture until the exposure meter needle matches the exposure you want. The aperture size is not controlled by the camera. That is your job.

IS doesn't work with GFX 50S II.
Any Idea how to enable it?
The Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster 65mm f/1.4 Lens for Fujifilm G is a manual lens with no contacts to communicate with the GFX 50S II camera. So the camera does not know that a lens is attached. You need to go to the the set-up menu and choose BUTTON/DIAL SETTING. Here you will find the SHOOT WITHOUT LENS option. This will allow the camera to operate with manual lenses.
